Amazon.com Product Description The Timex T78751 Youth digital watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. It features an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a comfortable velcro fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with a race car flames against a black base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), 12/24-hour time, durable silver resin case, large function buttons, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.

Great Watch! January 21, 2010 S McG (Florida) My 7 year old son absolutely loves this watch, he times himeself with the stopwatch and everybody else in the family doing all kinds of things. "Mom, you have 30 minutes to finish this grocery shopping!"
Arrived in a smashed box December 11, 2009 Mother of 3 (Wilton, Ct) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item arrived in a smashed box, but I believe (?) the watch works- don't know for how long! The amazon rep would not exchange it for me because I think it works, so now I have to give this gift in a smashed box, not certain if it works. This will be my last experience with Amazon, the box was so poorly packed and the customer service rep was horrible. I would not recommend to purchase this item through the mail, more likely than not it will come broken, and you will be stuck with it. Going to a store is a safer bet. A very disappointing experience, Amazon has gone downhill.
Fell apart before he even wore it August 23, 2009 Patriot Bought this for my son's 9th birthday because he loves race cars. The lower right button fell off while we were setting it. He hadn't even worn it! Short pins used to connect to base wouldn't stay when we tried to repair it
Watch for 5 1/2 yo June 15, 2009 R. JUDELSOHN (Washington, DC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this watch for my son for graduation from preschool. He loves it. We set the time and now he uses it almost daily. He is learning how to keep time and what the time we do things (ex. 12 lunch, 8 bedtime, etc.) The button size is perfect for his fingers. I would recommend to others.
not quite right... March 23, 2009 D. Lee 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son was given this watch for his 6th birthday. The soft, stretchy band seems like a great idea for a young child. The problem is that it continuously slips out of the clasp and falls off. The watch itself stopped working (just after warranty)and was not able to be fixed at a cost that was less than just buying another watch. In hind-sight I would have gone with a more expensive, sturdier watch. This one has been a disappointment for our 1st time watch owner.
