Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.
Amazon.com Product Description The Timex T70981 Youth digital watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. It features an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with blue lightning bolts against a multi-tone blue base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), 12/24-hour time, durable blue resin case, large function buttons, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.

great watch for youth,,pre teens,,age 7-12 I would say................... February 1, 2010 Connie J. Shazar (nj, usa) my boys are age 9-11 they love the watches,,I got them in blue and my one son sleeps in it,,since Christmas so far,,he loves it,,he likes it in bed to push the light and see what time it is..and the comfort of it, and the time he can read easily,,so he is happy then I am happy,,
Great for potty training! January 20, 2010 T. Sukhu (Dana Point, CA United States) Hi got this watch for my two and a half year old to year and set the timer to remind him to use the potty. It works great, fits his tiny wrist perfectly and has been a very effective tool in reminding him to go potty. He feels like a big boy for wearing a watch (none of his friends have one!) and it has a lot of other functions we still don't even use.
This watch did what it was supposed to do and is great for small wrists!
Fine first watch for my 6yr old son November 27, 2009 J. J. Marino (Rochester, New York) This watch is a fine first kids watch. Its elastic band can take some abuse and the rubberized coating on the watch itself is durable. The buttons are easy to use and fairly straightforward. He has worn this every day since his birthday in October and it has held up very well.
I will update this review in say 6 months to see if it has survived and how well it has held up. Anyone over 30 remember the gorilla and Samsonite commercials? That is roughly equivalent to what my son does to items he owns, which is to be expected by all boys.
All in all a fine first watch for a child.
Thank you for reading my review.
Good watch, Poor quality! September 2, 2009 S. Alper 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought two of these watches. The first one died after 4 months and the second one died 3 months after that.
Item is not as described July 29, 2009 Wendy Fiddler (Indiana) The watch description says that the watch is water resistant to 99 feet. The watch we received is not water resistant at all. It says in the instructions that the watch will be marked on the back if it is water resistant and it is not marked. My son doesn't want me to return it, but I'm not expecting it to last long.
